Dangled Carat by Hilary Grossman6/3/2023 ![]() I would love to meet Hilary, her mom, and Marc. It was fun to “hang out” with them throughout Hilary and Marc’s story. These friends seem like such a crew, caring and loyal. They are friends and family that went through this with Hilary. I don’t want to call them characters because they aren’t. (Hilary–you know what I’m referring to!!!) I liked everyone. And there were a few moments that I was mad at Hilary and wanted to smack her. ![]() There were a few moments that I wanted to be there to comfort her. Then there were moments that I was giddy and so happy. There were a few times I just shook my and wondered what Hilary was thinking. ![]() Grossman, having a glass of wine, and gabbing with my friend, hearing her story. You will want to see if she can get Marc, the commitment-phobe, to marry her. As I was reading Dangled Carat, I felt as if I was sitting with Ms. ![]() Although it is a memoir, it reads like chick lit. It’s an easy read that will hook you from the beginning. It was a wonderful read that I think many women will relate to.
